It was a weekend filled with excellent field hockey competition at the Regional Training Center in Virginia Beach. Due to Tropical Storm Ophelia, Autumn Ambush was rescheduled for this Sunday, giving our U8, U10, U12, and U14 divisions back-to-back days of game play. TCOYO had 5 teams competing in the U8-U14 divisions against clubs from throughout the region.
The coaches are very pleased with the growth each player has shown in the past month. They show up each day excited to learn new skills and game concepts and it is very exciting to see them translate them into game play during Autumn Ambush.
With one more month remaining with the fall season, we are excited to continue local games this weekend and prepare for our next tournament, the always-popular CHKD Play Day on October 29 at the Warhill Sports Complex. We’re proud of all of our players for their hard work this weekend!
