It was an outstanding weekend of high-level competition for all three TCOYO teams at the annual Sunshine Showcase this past weekend! TCOYO took one U14, U16 and U19 team that all played 11v11. All three teams performed well, and 2 teams were in contention for first place in their flight based on winning shootouts and game winning strokes in the semi-final games. This made for a dramatic finish on the last day!
Our U14 team brought home silver in the Lady Bracket and finished 10th overall with a 5-1 record. Our 16 team finished in the top 25% of the U16 division with a 3-2 record and just missing medal contention by 1 goal. Our U19 team brought home silver in the Queen of Hearts Bracket and finished in the top 35% with a 3-2-1 record.
In addition to the fantastic performance by all players, one of the most gratifying aspects of the tournament was seeing the confidence, composure, and unity that characterized our players throughout the weekend. With college coaches lining the sidelines and top-notch competitors squaring off against us, TCOYO rose to the challenge! Coaches Catherine, Cole, Courtney, Ellie, Kristina, Nicole, and Sandy were inspired by these girls.

We are so proud of the growth each player has had during the Fall outdoor season and we are excited to finish our winter season preparing for the National Indoor Festival and National Indoor Tournaments this month!
